Those lovable twitter folk BigDaveSB and Simon Painter have been on a bit a trip in aid of KidsCan, in this Jailbreak they attempt to blag their way to africa and along the way use social media to raise valuable funds.

The boys will be doing a write up for the site about how they got on and what challenges they came up against tweeting and blagging their way half way across the world.

Highlights of part one are Pre-Flight Bacon and a serious case of Turbulance you can watch the rest of their journey over on their jailbreak website.

YouTube adds automatic captions great for charities

Google's YouTube team have announced automatic speech recognition technology will be applied to YouTube videos allowing for closed caption for people with accessibility requirements this is a major leap forward and for charities could be a key element in convincing your boss to make YouTube part of your communication channels.

If you arn't aware of The Guild then you are missing one of the best Webisode shows on YouTube, Written by Felicia Day with music by Joss Whedon's brother Jedd Whedon. The Guild is a TV show on YouTube in small chunks called Webisodes each one is between 2 minutes and 6 minutes worth checking out if you wan't a laugh.

WARNING: Very geeky humor so don't be surprised to go "Huh What's funny about Raid, that's bug spray isn't it?"
