TechnicaVita is the creation of John Carnell, founder and CEO of Bullying UK a national charity powered by the web to keep costs low and impact high. I wanted to give a little something back and use my knowledge and experience to help charities to wise up to the Internet, Technology and particularly Social Media.
TechnicaVita was launched in May 2009 and has grown rapidly by November 2009 over 11,000 people a month are accessing over 200 pages of quality content.
In June I launched a series of Twitter non profit interviews" href="/See-All-Interviews/social-interviews/twitter-charites">Charity Twitter Interviews giving charities and NGO's all over the world a chance to tell their story of using Twitter to raise awareness of their cause and create social actions, over 40 charities have so far taken part.
In responce to requestes from charities to share best practise or just cool project details I started "How we did it" a chance for charities to talk about the nuts and bolts trials and pitfalls of Social Media.
Following on from the huge success of the Twitter Interviews, Facebook Charity Interviews were launched in October again giving NGO's a chance to share how they are making sense of the social streams.
If you are interested in sponsoring the site or if your a charity and would like to take part in any of my interviews please get in touch
All the best
